Following an inquiry by the stewards of the Jockey Club, Cripsey Brook, who passed the post 13th, was disqualified - banned substance found in sample.

ANALYSIS:

PATHAN continued his improvement to impress in not only overcoming the worst draw in stall 1, but also pulling clear after making the running.
Eagles Cache looks a similar type and would have gone close at 6f, but he could find no extra in thefinal furlong. He had been free to post.
Browser ran another sound race, but it would be no surprise to see Cashneem, who made a very promising debut, improve past him.
Starry Mary, free to post, ruined her chance by racing too freely.
Although the field finished well strung out, Alagazam left the impression there was more to come when stepping up again in trip.
Polish Paddy did not get the clearest run mid-track, and could be interesting in a nursery now.
Pilgrim Goose ran green on his debut, but showed enough to be of interest with the experience under his belt.
