ANALYSIS:
Not a particularly
informative sprint handicap. BABY BARRY, who was back on his
last winning mark, had been a bit disappointing recently, but came
back to form, showing plenty of speed from his high draw. He could
be interesting in his next few racesas last year he held his form
quite well on good/fast ground after winning here in July.
King Harson, dropping back to 6f after finishing a good
second over 7.5f last time, is another in good form and should be
able to pick up a race off this sort of mark. John O'Groats
was far from disgraced on ground possibly faster than ideal, and
this was a solid effort by Effervesce, though she still seems
a few pounds too high. Parkside Pursuit was disappointing
after his convincing win at Ayr last week and he might need slightly
easier ground. The rest were all in a heap, none of them showing any
particular promise.
