ANALYSIS:
A pretty competitive and wide-open handicap, produced a long-priced winner in SNOW BUNTING, who had the right ground conditions to produce his best. Staying on best of all, he sealed the race in the closing stages to underline his continued wellbeing. He will now run again under a penalty at Newcastle on Monday.
Pedro Jack showed himself to be in good heart with a spirited effort, while Only One Legend, back to his best trip, gave a more encouraging display from 2lb out of the handicap.
Haulage Man continues in decent form, along with Currency, while Tommy Smith, who has had a few problems with the stalls of late, jumped out this time, but, not for the first time, hung to his left under pressure. The handicapper has probablygot his measure now.
Inchcoonan ran a reasonable race, but What-A-Dancer, dropping down in distance, could never get competitive, and Desraya failed to build on his return to form at Newmarket.
