ANALYSIS: Some in-form sprinters here, and none more so than DEVON FLAME, who completed a hat-trick. Racing on probably the best ground near the stands' side, he made all and held on gamely.
Iced Diamond did well to come through for second after losing ground at the start, while College Queen was also doing her best work at the finish as she ran her best race for some time.
Guns Blazing showed good speed up the centre of the track but is better at five furlongs and could not sustain his challenge from the furlong mark. Twilight Mistress slipped leaving the stalls and ran as if something was amiss.
