ANALYSIS:

This was run at a strong gallop and CASHNEEM, who had shaped better last time at Musselburgh, battled on well to win his first race for more than two years. This was his fifth run for Mark Brisbourne and, in view of the way his horses improve, he maywell be worth noting on his next few outings.
African Sahara came into the race in good form and ran well with a penalty on a track that seems to suit him. Glenhurich hasn't the best of win records, but she seems to go well here and put a moderate run at Haydock behind her with a solid effort. Mehmaas hasn't won for more than a year and is not particularly consistent, but this was a good run as he was up with the strong pace throughout. There was no obvious excuse for Oscar Pepper. Market Avenue wasn't disgraced considering 1m is on the short side for her. These six were well clear of Ho Leng.
