ANALYSIS: Not many came into this in much form but CRESKELD had shaped well at York on his previous start, and suited by this easier ground, won in good style. Despite his low draw, he got across to a good position and had this sewn up when he quickened clear 2f out and will be interesting with a penalty. This was his fourth win since last November, and although he goes well on the all-weather he is rated 22lb higher in that sphere.
Qualitair Wings ran on when the race was all but over to show his bestform for a while on ground that clearly suits him. Waterside, whose best recent form had been on Polytrack, ran creditably back on turf, but Hoh's Back, who was dropping back in trip and carrying a penalty for winning here last week, could never get on terms.
Bollin Edward didn't appear to stay, and Cashneem can be forgiven this below-par run at he was blocked on the inside 2f out, and could never regain his lost momentum.
