ANALYSIS:
A run-of-the-mill handicap run at a fair pace went to ATLANTIC
QUEST, who was wearing cheek pieces for the first time. He had
been in fair form, but this seems about his mark and, being an
exposed sort, he could struggle in future outings if the
handicapper overreacts. African Sahara seems to go well here and turned in his
best effort for a while.
Although Mehmaas is on a long losing run, he ran a
solid race here, as he stuck on well after making most of the
running. He deserves to wina race, but is struggling to do so at
present.
Haulage Man had every chance, but his attitude is
questionable, while Shifty wasn't disgraced, as he got
loose on the way to the start and also missed the break.
Pepper Road, who was keen, seems to have lost his form
a little, and Top Dirham is another who is not running
anything like as well as he was earlier in the season.
Cashneem faded rapidly after racing keenly early on.
