ANALYSIS:
An ordinary amateur riders' handicap run at a fair pace.
CASHNEEM loves fast ground and, particularly well handled by
his pilot, saw his race out in good style. He was racing off a mark
just 1lb higher than for his last win and depending on how he comes
out of this, may reappear at Doncaster on Saturday.
Londoner at least came into this in some sort of form and
stayed on to finish second, but he hasn't won for 20 months and he
is due to go up 2lb from Saturday, so things will not get any
easier.
Tuscan Flyer ran his best race of the season so far, but all
his wins have been at the minimum trip and he is still 2lb above his
last winning mark.
Bint Royal, 1lb below her last winning mark on turf, had
every chance and kept on to the line under an animated finish from
her rider.
Somerset West, who was bidding for a hat-trick off a 3lb
higher mark, was rather awkward leaving his outside stall. He then
took a good hold and also may not have been helped by being taken on
for the early lead by Feast Of Romance
