ANALYSIS: Mainly exposed sorts in
this 0-60 handicap in which those who raced close to the pace were
favoured.
QUEEN'S ECHO, who was behind Shifty at Thirsk two runs ago,
stepped up on that form and, after racing in touch, came away in the
last furlong to score in decisive fashion. She had run well at
Leicester earlier in the week, and may be able to follow up under a
penalty.
Slavonic, whose stable is in fine form, ran creditably from
his outside draw, and Showtime Annie stayed on well from off
the pace to show her best form for a while.
Parisian Playboy is in fair form, and wasn't disgraced from
his outside draw, Master Joseph was struggling from a long
way out, but kept on, and Musiotal, who was stepping up from
6f, didn't get home and left the impression that 7f is his optimum
trip.
Montara was dropped out at the start, and lost a lot of
ground in the process and never featured.
