ANALYSIS: A big field for this very
ordinary handicap and not too many had realistic chances on the
book, but it resulted in a blanket finish with the bare form being
held down by fifth home Zafarshah, who had been running in claimers.
SAXON LIL, one of only two three-year-olds in the line up,
did very well to score under her massive weight. She was completing
a four-timer, and as she only ever seems to just win, the
handicapper may not quite have got hold of her yet, even though she
has gone up 23lb in thelast couple of months.
Logistical had been running on the all-weather and his rating
suggests he is only a banded race class horse.
Iced Diamond is another who seems to save his best for the
sand, as he does not seem as good on turf despitehaving a lower
rating.
Oh Boy did best of the quintet who raced on the far side and
there might be a little race in him, especially as he has dropped to
a reasonable mark.
Zafarshah seemed to run his race, but the handicapper just
about hashis measure at present.
