ANALYSIS:

NAFISAH and Albuhera came right away from what looked a reasonable field and are two handicappers to follow.
The winner had some decent two-year-old form, but faced no easy task at the weights. However, runners from her stable have been fairly well forward, and she must have been quite fit to see out her race so well. It looks a decent effort to give the less-exposed Albuhera 13lb, and she shapes as if she will get further.
Bachir's brother Albuhera looked open to plenty of improvement, andclearly stepped up considerably on his two-year-old form. He had plenty of use made of him and stuck on well, without being quite able to hold off the winner. Unfortunately, he is likely to face a fair hike up the handicap.
Modrik carried the winning owner's second colours, but there was no shortage of confidence behind him on this first appearance for a new stable. He was well placed from the start and had his chance, but he could not go with the two principals. He was, however, always holding onfrom Factual Lad and Goggles in a good race for third. The last-named, taking a big step up in trip, did not convince as a miler.
