ANALYSIS:

A messy contest in which a slow early pace saw several horses pull for their heads until halfway and the field finish in a heap, with only 6l covering them. As such, the form may well not stand up.
MACAROON's connections had intended to hold up the filly, but she travelled prominently throughout and was in the right position when the race developed into a sprint. Chris Bonner, Michael Bell's assistant, reported: "She has looked like she was going to win a furlong and a half out in her last couple of races so we were going to hold her up, but Jamie [Mackay] said she was travelling too well. And she quickened again."
Min Mirri posted a similar effort to her latest run at Goodwood, keeping on well enough without ever mounting a serious challenge.
Third-placed Cashneem, having his first run for eight weeks, showed his best form of the campaign, but still looks plenty high enough in the weights.
Flint River, from a yard in cracking form, failed to add to the stable's tally, having held every chance, and this was a disappointing effort.
Bullsefia, who showed promise in winning his Warwick maiden, looked a handful for his rider on his handicap bow, pulling extremely hard early and then running about.
One to note for a smallish race may be early leader Zhitomir, not persevered with when the others pounced.
