ANALYSIS:

A messy race, sure to produce a different result if re-run with Raheibb looking a most unlucky loser, failing with an ambitious run up the far rail after travelling well through the final 2f.
The form is further devalued with Nose The Trade losing allchance at the start, and Halland, who played up in the prelims, dumping his jockey on the way to the start, also missing the break.
Lapwing, usually produced late, failed to run his race after a change of tactics saw him lead.
LUNAR LEO is a quirky sort, confirmed by his trainer after he was taken down early with plenty of restraining aids - he got loose at home before his last intended run.
He took all this furlong longer trip to get in front, although he was always travelling well and if his temperament is kept in check he can defy the handicapper again at this sort of trip.
Royal Millenium got a dream run through against the rail after travelling like the winner up the straight, and remains progressive.
Raheibb, not disgraced in the mile Britannia at Royal Ascot, left the impression he would have won if a gap had opened, but he was kept in the pocket throughout the last 2f.
Give Back Calais, stepping up in trip, was surprisingly outpaced before doing his best workin the final furlong, suggesting another furlong would not go amiss.
Inspector General was short of room in the pack before scything home and left the impression he would have gone closer if the thunderstorms had hit.
Nose The Trade did well to get in a challenge inside the last 2f, but he did not look happy on the ground, always wanting to hang left, and Give Back Calais edging out towards him gave him the chance to duck the issue.
Halland looked very mulish at the back; switched wide he started a challenge, but could not go through with it.
