ANALYSIS: Although this looked a fair maiden, the finishing position of Uig, who had shown next to nothing previously, gives the overall form a far from solid look. MOTIVE had caught the eye of many good judges when staying on last time on his debut and put the experience to good use on this occasion. He hung in the closing stages but gave the overall impression he would be suited by further.
Coming Again, a Derby entry, has a long way to go to live up to those aspirations but he should pick up one of these on this evidence.
Uig had not got the best of runs last time but this represented an improved effort. Quite what the handicapper will make of it is anybody's guess.
Plummet was not disgraced on her debut and she should derive plenty of benefit for the outing. Nietzsche is handicapped now while Double Dagger Lady ran better than her finishing position suggests as she made a tardy start and can come on considerably.
