ANALYSIS: Big distances after the first five in this all-aged maiden in which BENDARSHAAN got off the mark at his tenth attempt. He had shown promise for Ed Dunlop last season, and although beaten in a handicap on his first run for Mark Johnston, he may improve for a step up in trip as he was being pushed along a fair way out to go the pace here.
Jayer Gilles, whose debut form was franked at Windsor on Monday evening, probably ran up to that and should soon win a race.
This pair were five lengths clear of Encompass, who seemed to improve on her first run, but didn't look entirely at ease on the fast ground.
Molehill faded in the straight, but this run now qualifies her for a handicap mark and she should be seen to better advantage in that sphere.
Welkino's Boy improved on his debut run and these five were a long way clear of the rest.
