ANALYSIS: A
classified stakes race and they don't come much worse than this as
it was limited to horses rated 0-45 but something had to win it and
that proved to be MOUNTAIN CLIMB. He was having only his
second run for his new trainer, and second in Britain, and did it
well enough in the end, although he did run about a bit before
hitting the front and may need a pair of blinkers in future as he
wore them in Ireland.
Lady Duxyana ran well enough to suggest that a seller could be
within her compass even though she has been beaten in that sphere.
Joe Jo Star has won on the sand and seems better on that
surface than turf.
Shandelight ran on in the closing stages and as this was only
her fourth run there might be some improvement to come.
